A play based on the eponymous Yehonatan Geffen book of poems, the play used plenty of colour on set, helped by a pastel palate on the cyc. The pastels set a happy, upbeat, fairy tale feel, and allowed me to convey the emotions of the characters when needed by using more intense colors.

The exception to the rule proved helpful in creating this scene of a power loss. Dim lighting and taking advantage of incandescent red shift, as well as using the flashlights, gave the scene a spooky appearance.
